"The Adjustment Team": Philip K. Dick's short story is available for 99 cents on Kindle

Saw the stylish romance/suspense/scifi hybrid movie "The Adjustment Bureau" yesterday, and I loved the way it looks. Great New York locations and sharp-dressed men abounding. The movie was spun from Philip K. Dick's short story "The Adjustment Team", originally published in Orbit Science Fiction's Sept/Oct issue in 1954. (Hence the Mad Men hats.)

Read it on Kindle for 99 cents.

Thanks! Sounds like a good story--and I generally like his stuff. You know, I've actually thought about editing some of my shorts again and putting them out there on Kindle. I'd love to know what you think about it, particularly for a writer who has yet to be agented, etc. I just never see my shorts getting collected in book form and don't really see them landing in high brow literary magazines, and yet they are not genre specific enough to get published in a genre magazine. I'm curious what you think about that possibility. I wouldn't consider it for my long fiction yet for sure, but for short . . . it strikes me that it could be a real possibility, and a way to start building an audience.
