A "Professor" schools her student, xtra normal style

Would be funny if it weren't so true. I recently showed this to my MFA and PhD hopefuls, just so they could be in the know . . .

The sad thing is that early on, I actually did have the romanticized notion that I would fall in love with another grad student and we would go off somewhere and write and teach together. It almost happened, too, but I'm so glad it didn't!

Oh, dear. That's hideously funny...but horrible. And horribly funny.

(in a monotone) 'I want my dughter to be a college professor.... I want to subsidize her endless changes of majors while paying for the NCAA football team. Please let my daughter be a college professor'

Sad, yet so true. My mother told my cousin this as she's completing her PhD program...sadly the pay is better in a public school...

LOL! OMG, my sister-in-law, the PhD professor, made this video, didn't she?

My daughter is tracking this as I cringe...she took from her father's side.

My mom seems to think this is what I want to do. Maybe I should show her this video so she gets off my back about it...thanks!

I've been laughing about this all day. The robotic voices add to the creepiness. But oh, what wonderful professors I had, and how much I thank them (and still emulate) their mad devotion.
