According to the blog THE EARLY WORD, Greg Mortenson is now blaming the factual dissonance of his mega-bestseller THREE CUPS OF TEA
on his co-author's desire to smooth out the flow of the story.Hmm. Something tells me that condensing/telescoping events is a wee bit different from (allegedly, according to 60 Minutes) inventing a Taliban kidnapping and squandering funds raised in order to build schools.
Will be interesting to see how this plays out.
