I interviewed him for a newspaper story when he toured a few years ago. It was a special "Alice's Restaurant" tour, and he said he liked revisiting the song, but on regular tours he gets kind of tired of people asking for it. In any case, he was really nice. I've been following your blog for a while but haven't left a comment. Interesting stuff. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for reminding me to listen to the song.
